The T20 World Cup points table 2026 shows current T20 World Cup teams standings with updated team rankings for all 20 teams in four groups. Two teams with most number of win and points from each group are considered qualified for the super 8 stage followed by semi-finals and finals. An overview of what happens to the points table during group stage and what happens after is given in depth below:
Group stage
*** If points are equal, the team with the most wins will be placed in the higher position.
*** If there are teams with equal points and equal wins, the team with the higher net run rate will be placed in the higher position.
*** If still equal, then the team with the higher number of wickets taken per fair balls bowled in the matches played in which results were achieved will be placed in the higher position.
